The Golden Joystick Awards are back for their 43rd edition, and voting for the Ultimate Game of the Year (UGOTY) is officially open!
From November 3 to November 7, 2025, you can go vote for the year’s best game at goldenjoysticks.com. This final round is separate from the main voting that closed on October 31, giving players and judges a chance to include major late-year releases.

Golden Joystick Awards Dates
The votes for the Ultimate Game of the Year will close November 7, and the ceremony will take place on November 20, 2025. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Maggie the Bard, who revealed the full Ultimate Game of the Year shortlist on social media.
