A new GTA VI leak has been going around on social media the last few days, and this time, it is all about the length of the main story! If you do not want to know how long the main story can be, or where it will end, do not read further, as this may contain some slight spoilers!
Now that you are warned, let’s go into the latest leaks! According to the leaker, we can expect to spend around 75 hours completing the main story. You will have multiple chapters to go through. There should be a total of 5 Chapters.

Chapter Breakdown
- Prologue – 2 hours
- Chapter 1 – 6 hours
- Chapter 2 – 13 hours
- Chapter 3 – 16 hours
- Chapter 4 – 22 hours
- Chapter 5 – 16 hours
A ton of players are being very suspicious of this leaked information, as GTA is not really know for having over 30 hours of main story. Typically, older GTA games have very short with non-meaningful stories, and the game begins afterward.
However, Rockstar did confirm before that they intended to make a more important story this time, so it would fit the leak. 75 hours in total is not that long, but perfectly good to set up a really cool story!
A Surprising Location for the Ending?
On top of the story length, the leak also reveals that the ending will take place outside the US! This would be a first for the series! And apparently it is even one of the most polished parts of the game, after the graphics, in terms of development focus.
If true, this also means Rockstar is going all-in on a cinematic, chapter structure, possibly taking inspiration from games like Red Dead Redemption 2.
As always, take leaks with a grain of salt. But if this one turns out true, GTA 6 could offer one of the best single-player campaigns in the franchise’s history!
