Here Is When The Outer Worlds 2 Unlocks in Your Region

The wait is finally ending for The Outer Worlds 2. Obsidian has shared the global release schedule, confirming when players across all regions can start exploring the Arcadia system.

If you grabbed the Premium Edition, you might already be out there thanks to early access that started a few days ago. For everyone else, the adventure officially begins tomorrow with a global launch that opens the doors to space at the same time for players everywhere.

Global Launch Schedule

Here is when The Outer Worlds 2 unlocks around the world:

Depending on where you live, here is a quick look at when you can start playing:

  • Seattle, October 29, 10:00 AM PDT
  • Mexico City, October 29, 11:00 AM CST
  • New York, October 29, 1:00 PM EDT

The launch is global, so everyone gets access at once. Depending on your timezone, of course, that might mean a pretty early or late start.

Early Access And Preload Times

If you picked up the Premium Edition, you can already play right now. Early access is live, which means players who own the premium version got a head start before the official release later this week.

That version includes:

  • Full early access
  • Upcoming story DLC
  • Bonus cosmetics and soundtrack

Standard Edition owners will need to wait for the official unlock time to go live. However, preloads are already available on all platforms. This includes Steam, Xbox, and Game Pass, so you can have the game ready before launch.
