HoYoverse has recently revealed their next game, and it looks very different from what we have seen before. Honkai: Nexus Anima combines creature collecting with tactical auto-battler combat, wrapped up in a colorful, story-driven adventure.
What Is Honkai: Nexus Anima?
In Nexus Anima, you explore fragmented worlds filled with magical creatures called Anima. Each represents concepts like Love, Hate, Light, and Dark. You can recruit them, fight alongside them in auto-battler style encounters, and even solve puzzles or play mini-games along the way.
Beta Sign-Ups Are Open
HoYoverse is running its first closed beta, called the Nexus Bond Test, for PC and iOS. You can sign up until September 12, 2025, but spots are limited. If you get in, you will be among the first to try out the mix of creature collecting and strategy gameplay.

Why Players Are Excited
A lot of people are already calling it “Pokémon meets HoYoverse.” The mix of creature collecting and tactical battles feels cool & new, and the designs are getting attention too – from pudding-themed puppies to creepy-cute gothic bunnies. On top of that, exploration looks more open and interactive than usual for a HoYoverse game, which makes Nexus Anima stand out in their lineup.
