If you are wondering how far you can level in the Early Access version of Titan Quest 2, the answer is 40. That is the current cap for all characters, and a few Reddit players have already confirmed it while testing XP farming and boss resets.
What You Can Do at Max Level
Right now, there is no traditional endgame system or New Game Plus mode. Instead, once you hit the cap, you can keep exploring and respawning bosses through the “Endgame Shrine”. This lets you raise monster levels and farm tougher enemies, but it is not quite the same as the multi-difficulty loop from the original Titan Quest.
Other things worth knowing:
- Rings and belts with +1 to +5 bonuses only start dropping at item level 40.
- A few bosses (like the Gryphon) cannot be resummoned, but most others can.
- Storm Mastery has strong farming potential thanks to movement skills.
So, even though there is not much post-level 40 content yet, that is expected to change over time. For now, Early Access is focused on the core experience, and more systems will likely be added in future patches.
