How to Quickly Revive Other Players in Elden Ring: Nightreign

Elden Ring Nightreign - How to Revive

How Revives Work in Nightreign

When a teammate hits zero HP in Elden Ring: Nightreign, they do not die instantly. Instead, they enter a Near-Death state, crawling on the ground with a segmented purple gauge above them. You will need to deplete that gauge to bring them back.

  • Attack the downed player to break their revive gauge. Light attacks, arrows, or abilities all work.
  • Each revive adds a segment to the gauge, meaning it takes longer to bring someone back if they have already been downed a few times.
  • You are on a timer – a circle fills up around the gauge. If it completes before you finish the revive, your ally fully dies and respawns at a Site of Grace, losing one level and dropping all carried runes.

Outside of boss encounters, if no one rescues you in time, you will automatically respawn after a short delay. However, you still lose one level and drop all your carried runes.

Tips to Revive Faster

Want to make sure you help your teammates get back up as fast as possible? Here are a few quick tips:

  • Use fast-hitting weapons to break the revive gauge faster (light melee or bows are ideal).
    • Heavy weapons can still be useful, as their charge attacks deal big chunks to the revive gauge, even if they swing slower.
  • Lock on to your teammate to avoid whiffing attacks and save time.
  • Stay at range if needed – any attack counts, so even a single arrow from a distance can help.
  • Watch the revive ring closely – the timer is tight, especially during boss fights or heavy mob pressure.

Class Skills That Help Revive

Keep in mind that some classes in Elden Ring: Nightreign can rescue others a little faster, or rather “more efficiently,” with certain special (ultimate) abilities:

  • The Guardian’s Wings of Salvation revives nearby allies when it lands.
  • Revenant’s Immortal March can instantly bring back anyone close by.

If your team is struggling with survivability, bringing one of these classes can be very beneficial! Save these Ultimates for chaotic fights or boss encounters when manual revives are too risky.

Bonus Tip:
You can reset the revive gauge (and its segments) by visiting a Site of Grace. This makes future revives faster again, so do not forget to rest up between tough runs!
