HoYoverse is taking a more cozy turn with Petit Planet, a charming new life sim where the universe fits right under your roof. Following its trailer, players are now getting their first real look of what makes this cosmic world so special, and an invite to join the adventure soon!
A Cozy World Beneath the Stars
HoYoverse has shared a new adorable trailer for Petit Planet, the studio’s upcoming free-to-play life sim that feels like a mix of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, with a sprinkle of cosmic magic!
Since HoYoverse clearly loves its space adventures, Petit Planet takes the journey to a new world, one you can make entirely your own. You will even be able to visit and explore other planets! But this time, there is no fighting, no struggles, just friendship, coziness, and adorable little creatures.
The Home Inspiration trailer gives a first look at how players can decorate their tiny little world hidden “under the roof of your house” arranging furniture, customizing rooms, and adding little personal touches to every corner.
From what we can see in the trailer, Petit Planet offers a surprisingly huge level of customization. There is a ton of furniture, items, and color palettes, enough to let every player make their own unique cozy world.
It is still unclear how much of this content will be free, but since the game is free-to-play, it is safe to assume some options might come through paid cosmetics or a possible battle pass system.
Beta Test Coming Soon!
The “Petit Planet Coziness Test” will start on November 7, 2025, giving selected players an early chance to explore this new world.
To sign up, head to the official Petit Planet website, log in with your HoYoverse Account (or create one), and fill out the short survey for a chance to join.
