Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Reportedly Targets 2027 Release Window

Some new info about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is floating around, and if it is accurate, we might be waiting a lot longer than people expected.

A user called DetectiveSeeds claims they contacted a Naughty Dog developer through LinkedIn and asked a few simple questions. Nothing wild, but the answers that came back are pretty interesting.

What the New Info Claims

According to them, the game is supposedly twice as big as The Last of Us Part II, and that honestly makes sense, since this has always sounded like a huge project. The reported release window is 2027, but even that is not locked in. The dev apparently described it as a “fluid target,” and that basically sounds like it could change any time.

They also mentioned that localization work has already started in multiple languages, with timelines similar to TLOU Part II. Some languages are not started yet, but there are job listings that seem to support this.

The most interesting part is that the game is said to have deeper RPG elements, where your choices actually impact parts of the story. Apparently, Naughty Dog wanted to push harder into “player-driven storytelling” with this one.

Of course, none of this is officially confirmed by Naughty Dog yet, so it is all worth taking with a grain of salt for now.

Still, if even half of this turns out to be real, Intergalactic is going to be one of Naughty Dog’s biggest and most ambitious games so far.

We will definitely be watching closely for any official updates, so keep an eye out on our latest news!
