Wuthering Waves Version 2.7 Part 2 just released Emerald Sentence, a new 5-star Sword perfect for Qiuyuan. As Qiuyuan’s signature weapon, does its power hold up to the game’s meta? ATK increases by 12%. Casting Echo Skill within 10s after casting Echo Skill or Basic Attack grants 1 stack of Bamboo Cleaver, which grants 30% Heavy Attack DMG Bonus to the wielder.
This effect can be triggered by Echoes of the same name once only, stacking up to 2 times, lasting for 12s. Casting Echo Skill at max stacks does not reset the duration. This effect can be triggered once every 10s and ends early if the wielder is switched off the field.
Casting Intro Skill grants 20% Echo Skill DMG Bonus to all Resonators in the team for 30s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked.
Even at R0 level 90, this weapon may be worth picking up. It has a base of ATK 587 and even 24.3% Crit Rate. The passive When A Heart Settles increases ATK by 12% and has two effects. The first effect called “Bamboo Clover” provides an 30% Heavy Attack DMG which can stack up to 2 times, lasting for 12 seconds. These stacks greatly increase the wielder’s personal damage, especially if they have Echo Skills. Try to not drop these stacks if possible!
Additionally, every time the wielder uses their Intro Skill, this weapon grants an additional 20% Echo Skill DMG to all team members for 30 seconds. Unfortunately, if you already have the same bonus effect on the team, they cannot stack together.
However, keep in mind Bamboo Clover will disappear if the wielder exits combat. For the best damage output, try to keep the wielder on-field as long as possible.

Who is Suitable For Emerald Sentence?
So far, Qiuyuan is the only Sword character capable of fully utilizing the Echo Skill requirement imposed Emerald Sentence. Currently, there are no other Sword Characters who use scaling echo skills. But perhaps there will be more in the future.
Is Emerald Sentence worth picking up for new players? Honestly, this weapon is excellent if you already have Qiuyuan or plan to get him. But it seems insufficient if it’s only for one character. Perhaps it’s better to save your Astrites for upcoming characters instead. ✨
