Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight Announced At Gamescom 2025
Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros., Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set to release in 2026. Judging from the gameplay preview, it looks promising. The YouTube comment section of the gameplay preview is full of fans comparing it to the Arkham series.
Batman: Arkham Asylum set the foundation for the Batman Arkham series in 2009. Ever since then, there have been many additions to the series, with Batman: Arkham Knight being one of the most popular titles.
However, the Arkham series came to an unfortunate stop after the release of Batman: Arkham Underworld in 2016. There were high expectations for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which came out in 2024. However, the game failed to deliver and turned out to be a flop, with Rocksteady Studios ending support for the game in January 2025.
Fans have been desperately waiting for Warner Bros. to release a good installment to the Arkham series. But it looks like Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is going to be the answer to the fans’ demands. However, we’ll have to wait patiently for the next year, as an exact release date has yet to be announced.
