Mafia: The Old Country revealed its system requirements for PC, alongside details regarding the performance of the game on consoles. Judging from the Recommended and Epic Preset requirements for the game, it appears that Mafia: The Old Country will require an exceptional rig to run well.
After the system requirements for PC were announced on Twitter/X, there was some uproar that the game might only run at 30 FPS on PS5. However, Mafia Game’s Twitter/X account quickly made a post, making it clear that the console version of the game will feature both performance and quality modes, with the performance mode averaging at 60 FPS.
Mafia: The Old Country’s Required PC Specs
Mafia: The Old Country’s system requirements for PC are quite extreme. You’ll need at least an Nvidia RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT to run the game at the minimum requirements.
If you want to get the best visual experience, then you’ll need a PC that matches the game’s Epic Preset requirements. For that, you’ll need at least an AMD Radeon RX 9070 or an Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti.
For the CPU, the Epic Preset requires at least an AMD Ryzen 9700X or an Intel Core i7-14700K to run at its best. The game’s required storage was also revealed to be 55 GB, which isn’t much considering how huge most modern games are.
Mafia: The Old Country is developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games. It launches on August 8 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For consoles, if you want to enjoy high-fidelity graphics, you can use the quality mode, or if you prefer framerates, then the performance mode will give you 60 FPS on average. If you’re looking to get the game, now’s the perfect time.
