Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 is almost here, and with that comes another round of balance changes. For this season, we are getting a lot of new teamups, a mini rework to Storm, but fans aren’t fully satisfied, as there are no nerfs hitting the triple support meta. On the bright side, Adam Warlock can finally fly now!
Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 Balance Changes
Vanguard & Strategist
When it comes to tanks and supports, this time around, there aren’t many significant changes to highlight. But out of the bunch, the biggest changes are that Thor’s Hammer Throw now grants a small amount of bonus health. Venom is getting more base health and bonus health from his Ultimate.
But of course, the biggest change is the long, very wide spoken request for Adam Warlock to finally get some movement buffs. Starting in Season 6.5, Adam Warlock will now be able to fly for a short time via an energy system, likely similar to Angela or Phoenix.

Duelist
Unlike tanks and supports, DPS characters are getting a lot of changes. Firstly, Star-Lord, Punisher, & Wolverine will now build their ultimate significantly faster. Deadpool’s healing ultimate is getting some buffs, along with Squirrel Girl’s Squirrel Blockade, which now has a faster projectile speed when not fully charged, making it easier to point-blank root your enemies.
But the biggest change is coming to Storm. Ororo’s Weather Control now has some brand new effects. The wind toggle now provides her with Bonus Health when landing her Bolt Rush and Wind Blade. The lightning toggle now allows Wind Blade to reduce Bolt Rush’s cooldown.
Also, allies now retain Storm’s buffs after leaving her radius for 2 seconds, rather than the buff vanishing instantly. Will this be enough to bring Storm back into the media?

New Team-Ups
Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 is also bringing us 4 brand-new Team-Ups, while sacrificing one that has been in the same spot since Season 2. The Fantastic Four Team-Up is being removed as 3 out of the 4 members are moving into other Team-Ups.
The Thing is now joining Gamma Charge, granting him gamma-infused fists that make his basic attacks and Haymaker deal more damage and grant him bonus health. Mr Fantastic is joining the Rocket Network, allowing him to further amplify his inflated state.
Invisible Woman is the anchor for a brand new Team-Up with Dr Strange, which gives him his original Season 0 Team-Up back, but now with a supportive twist. Lastly, Elsa Bloodstone is, of course, joining Deadpool’s Team-Up with Jeff.

What do you think? Are these changes impactful enough to finally break the triple support meta? Be sure to let us know and keep an eye on our Other Games section for more updates.
