Marvel Rivals Season 6 Balance Changes

With the reveal of Marvel Rivals’ newest hero, Deadpool, we’re also getting our first look at the Season 6 balance changes — and they’re set to seriously shake up the meta. Powerhouses like Invisible Woman and Gambit are finally getting nerfs, while underperformers like Hulk and Blade step into the spotlight with much-needed buffs. If you’re gearing up for Season 6, these hero tweaks are about to change how you play.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 Balance Changes

Vanguard

Doctor Strange gains the ability to cancel Cloak of Levitation mid-animation, giving him more mobility and faster inputs in combat. Hulk finally gets the love he’s deserves, with buffs to Gamma Burst and improved functionality on his leap. Monster Hulk also receives partial crowd-control immunity — meaning he can no longer be knocked back or launched away in Season 6.

Duelist

Black Panther steps up with increased base damage on his spear and a massive 50% damage reduction during his ultimate animation. Daredevil takes a hit across the board with several nerfs, while Namor and Iron Fist both receive general buffs.

But the biggest winner here is Blade. He can now stack Healing Reduction with his sword dash, and his shotgun dash applies a brutal 40% slow, making him far more dangerous in close-quarters fights.

Strategist

Season 6 brings mostly nerfs for supports. Invisible Woman’s shield loses both health and self-healing power — a clear move to make her less tanky overall. Gambit also sees reductions to his general healing, though his ultimate surprisingly remains untouched.

Cloak and Dagger finally gain charges on their shift ability, giving them more flexibility for burst plays or clutch defensive moves.

Team-Up Changes

Season 6 introduces two brand-new Team-Ups. Deadpool teams with Jeff to add a new healing tool, and his bonus effect now changes depending on the role he plays — a unique twist that adds more strategy to team comps. Meanwhile, Peni and Spider-Man link up to give Spidey a new ranged bluster bomb.

These changes also shake up existing pairings. Peni drops out of the Rocket Team-Up, and Spider-Man leaves the Human Torch combo. On the nerf side, both Hela & Namor and Mantis & Loki see major reductions to their Team-Up power.
