Marvel Rivals Season 7 is about to kick off, and with it, players have just got their first look at White Fox, the newest Strategist coming at the start of Season 7. In addition, Black Cat is joining the Marvel Rivals roster in the latter half of the season.
White Fox Joins Marvel Rivals
The legendary nine-tailed fox and Director of Tiger Division, Ami Han, is joining Marvel Rivals as the game’s newest Strategist. Much like other recent supports, she brings a mixture of supportive tide-turning abilities, while still being able to dish out some damage.
Some notable aspects of White Fox’s kit include her ability to charm foes. Unlike other games where a charm typically implies a stun or crowd control effect, it seems like her charm actually passifies enemies, preventing them from dealing damage to other targets.
Ami Han also has the ability to teleport to allies (even through walls), which, upon reaching them, deploys a barrier that can even block Magneto’s Ultimate. She can also get up close and personal, switching to a melee stance that lets her flip over opponents and push them into her team.
But hands down, White Fox’s Ultimate ability is definitly a change of pace for typical Strategists. For her Ultimate, she unveils her true form, shifting into a giant fox with 900 HP, and grants nearby allies lifesteal and crowd-control immunity.
Out Fox Them All
It’s natural that with every character Marvel Rivals introduces, or rather, most hero-based games have power creep baked into their kit. Before White Fox’s is even out on live servers, many fans are already criticizing her left-click healing, mainly its ability to bounce between targets or even off surfaces.
Next to Invisible Woman or Gambit, White Fox is looking to be a support thats very good at dishing out damage while primarily focused on healing. Which, once again, is achieving more than Ultron ever could.
Do you think White Fox’s kit is balanced, or will it see nerfs pretty soon? In the meantime, keep an eye on our Other Games section for more updates.
