MindsEye, created by Leslie Benzies, the producer behind GTA, is an exciting new single-player action game. Although often compared to the upcoming GTA 6, MindsEye offers a more focused, linear campaign, much closer to the storytelling style of the original Mafia game, for example.
The game releases today, but it seems the launch is not as smooth as expected, with various bugs and day-one patches missing! Here is everything we know!
Release Times
The game officially launches on June 10, 2025, across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. According to official release timers, here’s when the game launches, depending on your timezone:

Xbox Players Face Delay in Day-One Patch
Despite the excitement around MindsEye’s launch, Xbox Series X/S owners are facing a massive problem: the important day-one patch is not yet available on the platform. The developer, Build A Rocket Boy, announced on Reddit that the patch has not passed all certification requirements on Xbox consoles, causing a delay.

This delay comes at a tricky time for the game, since it just releases. Missing the promised launch day patch raises concerns about the developer’s ability to meet expectations and deliver a smooth experience from day one.
Adding to the tension, the publisher chose not to send out review copies in advance, leaving critics and players without early professional feedback before the game launches. This unusual move has made some gamers cautious.
Leslie Benzies himself promoted the game’s quality assurance recently in a video, highlighting his personal involvement. However, with a studio reportedly over 400 people strong, questions remain about how well the quality assurance process was managed, especially since many game studios have cut back on QA teams.

Not to mention that two executives left the company just days before the launch, it does not look promising so far.
