NieR: Automata is one of the most beloved games, and a lot of fans have been waiting for new information related to it! However, instead of a new NieR game, 2B will premiere in Call of Duty!
Get ready for a new season of Call of Duty: Mobile packed with action, new gear, and a big surprise: a special crossover with NieR: Automata! Season 5, called Primal Reckoning, launches on May 28 at 5 PM PT, and it brings a mix of futuristic and wild-themed content that you won’t want to miss.
What’s New in Season 5?
This season adds lots of new things to play with:
- A new Multiplayer map called Zoo – fight across an abandoned animal park.
- A new SMG weapon – the VMP is fast and deadly up close.
- Buy Stations in Battle Royale – collect money by defeating enemies, then use it to buy gear.
- New skins for the Combat Axe and Smoke Grenade.
- And more!
The NieR: Automata Collaboration
One of the biggest features of this season is the crossover with NieR: Automata, the beautiful game known for its android fighters, dramatic sci-fi story, and wonderful music.
There’s a limited-time NieR-themed event. You’ll complete missions to earn Action Points, which let you move through different paths and challenges. Along the way, you can:
- Collect Skill Chips
- Unlock hidden routes
If you complete the counterattack successfully, you can earn the following rewards:
- A brand-new Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S character skin (available through the event)
- Four different melee weapons themed around NieR
While this is for sure not the collab NieR fans were expecting, if you are a Call of Duty: Mobile player, it is definitely a nice skin to get!
