Blizzard is compensating players after the recent issues with the Talon vs Overwatch event.
Because bugs prevented players from progressing or switching factions properly, the developers decided to go much further than a small apology reward. Anyone who completed at least one event challenge during week one will now receive the rewards from both faction base passes and two prestige passes.
The goodies will be rolled out over several days, so do not worry if your items do not appear immediately.
What You Are Getting
All rewards are added on top of anything you already earned:
- 12 Base Loot Boxes
- 1 Epic Loot Box
- 1 Legendary Loot Box
- 2 Voice Lines (Sojourn and Emre)
- 2 Titles (Overwatch and Talon)
- 1 Weapon Charm
- 1 Emre Namecard
So even if you already finished a pass, you still receive the extra rewards.
Easier Event Completion Too
Blizzard is also lowering the faction title requirements since players lost progress time:
- Overwatch title: 8 → 7 pass completions
- Talon title: 8 → 7 pass completions
- Double Agent challenge: 16 → 14 completions

Talon x Overwatch “Conquest” Event Update
To make up for the inconvenience, we will be granting all eligible players (i.e. players who completed at least 1 event challenge in week 1) all the rewards granted by both faction base passes as well as two prestige passes.
Due to the volume of the grants, it will likely require several days to complete and some players will see their rewards coming in prior to others.
All the rewards granted will be additive to what players may have already earned naturally as course of the event (i.e. if you had already earned some lootboxes from the prestige passes, you will still receive additional lootboxes on top of those),
- The rewards will consist of:
- 12 Base Lootbox
- 1 Epic lootboxes
- 1 Legendary lootbox
- 2 VO Lines (Sojourn, Emre)
- 2 Common Titles (Overwatch, Talon)
- 1 Weapon Charm (Overwatch)
- 1 Namecard (Emre)
Additionally, to acknowledge players inability to switch factions and complete their passes during the event progress downtime, we will be lowering the pass completion requirement to obtain the Legendary Faction Titles by 1.
Effectively, these are the changes:
- Strike Commander: Complete 8 Overwatch event passes → Complete 7 Overwatch event passes
- Lupine Imperator: Complete 8 Talon event passes → Complete 7 Talon event passes
- Consequently, the Double Agent challenge requirement will now only require 14 passes completions instead of the original 16
- This will happen at the Season Midcycle Patch.
