If you are playing Overwatch, you now have another great excuse to log in this weekend. Blizzard announced a limited-time bonus event with extra progression rewards for everyone playing.
The event runs from February 20 at 11 am PT until February 23.
Double XP And Free Rewards
During the weekend event, all matches grant double experience. On top of that, players can also claim five free Loot Boxes just for logging in.
According to Blizzard, the bonus weekend is meant as a thank-you for the strong reception to Season 1.
A Good Time To Level Heroes
This is a useful moment to level the Battle Pass, unlock cosmetics, or finish hero progression faster than usual. Even short play sessions become more rewarding during XP events like this.
If you have been waiting to return or try new heroes, this weekend is probably the easiest time to do it! Make sure to log in and play a few fun games with your favorite Overwatch heroes.
