Blizzard is hosting a new Overwatch Spotlight livestream tomorrow, on February 4, focused on what is coming next for Overwatch. Alongside the presentation, players can also earn free Twitch Drops just by watching.
If you were already planning to tune in or only care about the rewards, here is what you need to know.
Overwatch Spotlight Date And Time
The Overwatch Spotlight goes live at the following time:
- February 4
- 10:00 AM PT
- 7:00 PM CET
The event will be streamed on Blizzard’s official Overwatch channels on Twitch and YouTube.
Twitch Drops And Rewards
During the Spotlight, Twitch Drops will be active on Twitch for eligible Overwatch streams. You can either visit the official livestream or watch one of your favorite Overwatch content creators, as long as they have drops active and are live in the OW category.
Viewers can earn the following rewards:

- Epic Loot Box (if you watch for 1 hour or longer)
As usual, Drops require watching for a set amount of time and claiming the reward on Twitch.
How To Earn The Twitch Drops
To make sure the Drops count/work properly:
- Link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts
- Watch a participating Overwatch stream during the event
- Claim the Drop in Twitch’s Drop inventory once progress is complete
- The rewards will appear in-game after claiming
If you have earned Drops before, the setup is the same.
What Blizzard Will Talk About
Blizzard has not shared many details about the Spotlight yet. The event is meant to cover what is next for Overwatch, with updates planned beyond the usual patch notes or blog posts.
What exactly that includes will be revealed during the livestream itself.

Even if you are not too interested in the announcements, the Twitch Drops make the Spotlight an easy decision and something you should definitely check out.
