PUBG is officially ending support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting from November 13, as announced by the developers. The game will still be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S without any issues.
The devs have also assured the fans that their existing account data and any purchase history will be securely preserved. And they can log in on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S to continue playing with their existing account.

You’ll Have To Upgrade Your Console To Continue Playing PUBG
The devs have also released a chart for supported specs on the current-gen consoles, where you’ll be able to run the game at 4K/60 FPS on PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Series X. For Xbox Series S, you’ll only be able to utilize 30FPS if you play on 1440p resolution. However, the Xbox Series S can still run the game at 60 FPS after reducing the resolution to 1080p.
For the regular PlayStation 5, you’ll also be able to run the game at 60 FPS, but only up to 1440p Resolution. The devs have also promised more updates in the future. These updates will be aimed at improving stability.

Now that the game is transitioning to current-gen only consoles, the quality of the visuals has also improved. The game will look better than it ever did before. Keep in mind that you will no longer be able to download or play PUBG on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after November 13.
If you want to transfer your data to a current-gen console, you simply have to log in to your Xbox or PlayStation account on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S console, and you’ll be able to continue the game.
