Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27, 2026, but depending on where you live and what platform you are on, the exact unlock time looks a little different.
On consoles, the game follows a traditional midnight local release in most regions. On PC, however, the unlock happens at the same global moment worldwide, and that means it might launch during the day in some countries.

If you are on PS5, Xbox, or Switch 2, you are basically looking at a midnight launch in your region, but if you are on PC, the game unlocks at a single coordinated global time.
So in some regions, PC players technically have to wait longer into the day, even though it is the same global moment.
Preload Is Live
Preloading is also already available on console and PC. If you have pre-ordered, you can download the game now so you are ready the second it unlocks.
For a launch this big, that is probably the smart move. If you were still hesitating, it is still possible to pre-order the game and download it before it goes live on Friday!
