The wait for news on the future of the Silent Hill series is almost over. Konami has officially announced a new Silent Hill Transmission broadcast for February 12 at 4:00 PM PT. Although there might also be some general updates for the franchise as a whole, the specific focus for this will be on the mysterious Silent Hill: Townfall.

Developed by Screen Burn Interactive (the studio formerly known as No Code) in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive, news around Townfall has been nonexistent since its cryptic teaser a few years ago. The studio is famous for narrative-heavy horror like Stories Untold and Observation, so fans expect a rather experimental take on the Silent Hill universe.
There are also rumors going around which would suggest we might get a March 26, 2026 release. If that date is accurate, this Transmission will likely serve as the official gameplay reveal and pre-order announcement.
The timing of the show is also very interesting. It begins exactly one hour after the PlayStation State of Play ends. This is just one of the reasons why many believe that we might see a short teaser during the Sony event, followed by a more in-depth look at what comes next during the Konami broadcast.
