SpongeBob’s Next Game Could Be Heading to Switch 2!
Rumors are swirling about a completely new SpongeBob game called SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, and it might be heading to the Switch 2. According to recent ratings in South Korea and Germany, the game is expected to release on multiple platforms with a potential launch this November 2025.
What We Know So Far
- Price and Platforms: It’s expected to launch at $39.99 USD, and there’s even talk of a physical edition for Switch 2.
- No Original Switch Version Yet: So far, there’s no word on whether the game will hit the original Switch.
- Publisher: The game is being published by THQ Nordic, which teased a new SpongeBob project back in October 2024.
With THQ Nordic’s digital showcase happening next month, this could be when we finally get a proper reveal.
Fans Are Very Excited
SpongeBob’s recent games have been surprisingly good. Titles like The Cosmic Shake and Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated have shown there is still plenty of life left in this series. If Titans of the Tide follows that formula, we could be looking at another fun release.
