SUPERVIVE 1.0 Launches Free on Steam With Game-Changing Armory System

The highly competitive blend of a battle royale, MOBA, and hero shooter is making a comeback. After what felt like years since SUPERVIVE briefly captivated players, the game is now available for free on Steam, featuring a brand new Armory system and five new Hunters since Open Beta.

What is SUPERVIVE?

SUPERVIVE is a top-down MOBA that combines elements of battle royale, featuring a roster of heroes with various roles and abilities. While it may sound complex, the fast-paced action in SUPERVIVE makes it highly addictive.

In many ways, SUPERVIVE is similar to other battle royales, like Apex Legends. Players engage in shooting, looting, and combat within a constantly shrinking play area. To succeed, you must not only master your favorite hero’s abilities but also learn how to effectively combine them with your teammates, adapt to the environment, and navigate the map’s unpredictability.

Here is a quick summary of what to expect in a standard match of SUPERVIVE:

  • In every game, you’ll drop onto the map to farm monsters, crack vaults, and pursue objectives: all of which will grant Coin, items, and Prisma.
  • You can spend your Coin at two kinds of stores: Base Shops that sell Grips & Kicks, and Relic Shops that sell Relics & Perks (we’ve spread these out to encourage map movement). These stores will offer items you’ve unlocked in your Armory.
  • You can also find Grips, Kicks, and Relics on special monsters, Vaults, the Train, and player deathboxes.
  • Upload your Prisma at Prisma Extractor stations to lock in your rewards (regardless of placement) and get equipment for that match.
  • In early, mid, and late game, bosses spawn and drop exotic perk rewards or unique items.
  • Be the last team standing as the circle shrinks in!

What sets SUPERVIVE apart is its unique and somewhat complex theorycrafting, which ca seem drastic and confusing at first. However, for the right players, this can be an exciting feature that makes each match feel significantly different. This experience is mainly due to SUPERVIVE’s new Armory system, which can be especially confusing for newer players.

Explaining SUPERVIVE’s Armory System

For those who played during SUPERVIVE’s closed or open beta, the new Armory system completely changes the game’s flow and how it’s played. Instead of dropping in and strictly searching for items that fully define your build, the Armory lets you design and theorycraft your favorite hero’s setup before the match.

Here is a small summary of how the Armory System works in SUPERVIVE:

  • Collect items for your Armory >>> Buy those items with Coin at in-game shops >>> Perform in games to earn Prisma >>> Spend Prisma to unlock more items for your Armory.
  • Hunter builds have been expanded to include: 2 Relics, 2 Grips, 5 Perks, and 1 pair of Kicks.
    • Relics are mighty artifacts that provide major effects (sharp, situational power).
    • Grips, worn on the hands, provide minor effects (moderate, broad power).
    • Perks are magic runes and sigils that provide minor passive effects.
    • Kicks are footwear that provide movement speed and may have additional stats or movement-based passives.
    • They have added many new stats and customization options for your Hunter’s playstyle (represented in the new Armory items).
  • All of this equipment will be collected throughout a Season (roughly 3 months) and stored in your personal Armory.
  • Play games to earn Prisma. Spend it on Prismatic Capsules for random Armory rewards, or use more Prisma to get specific items from the Shaper.
  • Prisma cannot be purchasable with real-world money.
  • In a match, you will complete objectives and kill monsters for Coin to then purchase equipment from your personal Armory at various shops, which are strategically spread across the map.
  • You can also loot other players’ Relics to use during that match if you take them out (but you won’t keep them in your Armory).
