At the Evo 2025, Bandai Namco Entertainment has finally revealed the release date of Armor King and showcased the upcoming new character to Tekken 8. Armor King is set to release on October 13, 2025, for Early Access, and on October 16 for all the other players.
Bandai Namco Entertainment had teased a brand new character for this year’s final slot, and we’ve finally gotten a peek at her at the end of Armor King’s trailer. Miary Zo is from Madagascar and will be the final DLC of Tekken 8’s Season 2 in 2025. An official release date for the Miary Zo will be revealed later this year.
Armor King – The Dark Supernova
Armor King has always been one of the most popular characters in the Tekken franchise. He’s a Jaguar like King, but wears black clothing and features a much more ruthless fighting style.
The trailer showcases Armor King’s abilities, and it appears that he’ll be a force to be reckoned with. From his moves to his Rage Art, everything looks incredibly cool in the trailer, and he also has plenty of flashy punishes.
Furthermore, the trailer showcases Armor King’s legendary battle against King inside the Battle Arena stage. The fight is nothing short of head-on brilliance as two wrestlers do their best to bring each other down. Armor King comes out victorious in the end as he jumps on the defeated King and takes in the applause of his audience.
Armor King was also introduced in Tekken 7 as a DLC character. And that didn’t restrict the fans from purchasing and playing him. Likewise, it appears that Armor King will also be a massive hit in Tekken 8.
With Miary Zo’s reveal, we’ve got a full list of all the characters coming out in Tekken 8 Season 2. It remains to be seen what characters Bandai Namco Entertainment has in store for the fans next year in Tekken 8 Season 3.
