The day is finally here! Hades 2 has finally launched into 1.0, leaving the long days of early access behind. Within the first few hours, Hades 2 has also successfully rocketed to the top of Steam’s most played games, along with shattering its peak player count.

With the full release of Hades 2 comes a multitude of new additions for players to explore. However, the most impactful part of this update is that the story’s true ending is finally here! Hades 2 1.0 also brings new events for the game’s dozens of fully voiced characters, new music, new Fated List prophecies, more late-game unlockables, and tons more.
Achievements have also been added, so for those who have been playing since early access, prepare to have your notifications bombarded upon opening the game. Speaking of which, the 1.0 launch has exploded in player count, currently rocketing the game to the top 10 of Steam Charts within a few hours after launching.
What is Hades 2?
Hades II is a rogue-like dungeon crawler in which you’ll battle beyond the Underworld of Greek myth using dark sorcery to take on the sinister Titan of Time. Naturally, Hades 2 is a direct sequel to the original Hades, continuing the story from the first installment.
In Hades 2, you play as the immortal Princess of the Underworld, Melinoë. You’ll explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the forces of the Titan of Time with the full might of Olympus, bringing you aid.

What is Next for Hades 2?
Hades 2 has been in development for four and a half years, which includes about a year and a half in Early Access. So what’s next? While the developers have promised to keep a close eye on the launch to ensure it’s as bug-free as possible, it’s currently too early to say what’s next.
