It turns out ARC Raiders might secretly be a “home decor simulator“. Players have discovered that trinkets you extract with, like rubber ducks, mixtapes, or even cat beds, actually show up inside your Raider’s base!
What Are Trinkets
Trinkets are small collectibles you can find when you are exploring Topside. It can be anything from yellow rubber ducks or snowglobes, to things like cat beds! Sadly, we did not find the cat that comes with it yet!
Many other players also posted their finds on Reddit after one person showed off a perfectly aligned row of yellow ducks proudly displayed in their room.
How Do You Display the Trinkets
You do not have to do much outside of actually collecting the trinkets. The rest is automatic. Anything that says “trinket” on the item gets placed on your shelf or inside the room after extraction.
So if you have been selling those ducks for a few credits, maybe think twice. You could be giving up your best interior design opportunity. A ton of players on the Reddit post were shocked when they realized they had been offloading their ducks, toasters, and snowglobes without knowing they have a really cool functionality.
Others also decided that “Progression no longer matters. ARC Raiders is a decorating game now.” Collecting all the weirdest trinkets might be the new endgame!
Luckily, progress from the stress test will not carry over, so if you sold any valuable trinkets, you did not lose much. At least now you know what to look out for once the full game releases! And one thing is for sure, it is little touches like this that make ARC Raiders even better.
