Titan Quest 2 has been doing exceptionally well despite still being an Early Access title. The title has sold over 460K copies on Steam alone, also becoming one of the best-performing games by revenue in its debut week.
The game was released in Early Access on August 1. And it was previously reported to have sold over 300,000 copies in 72 hours. However, Titan Quest 2 shows no sign of stopping as it continues to fly off the shelves.
Titan Quest 2 Continues To Perform Well
According to PlayTracker, the estimated number of Titan Quest 2 owners on Steam has crossed 460,000, with an active player count of 320,000 players. Keep in mind that these numbers are Steam only. Meanwhile, the game is also available to play on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The exact number of players on consoles is difficult to figure out unless the developers or THQ Nordic, the publisher, reveals it publicly. However, judging from the game’s performance on PC, it’s safe to assume that it’s doing well on consoles.
Due to Titan Quest 2’s insane popularity, the devs have also released a roadmap for their Early Access development plan up to next year earlier this week. Titan Quest 2 is set to receive major updates every 3 months, which will continue to add new content to the game.
For now, the game is averaging around 5,000 concurrent players on weekdays on Steam, according to SteamDB. But on weekends, you can see over 10,000 players playing Titan Quest 2 at once.
It is extremely likely that more people will jump on the game as more content is introduced. But for now, it can be said that the game is doing great for an Early Access title.
