With the recent release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake, fans noticed that some Easter Eggs from the original games are missing or altered.
What Easter Eggs Have Been Removed
While the remake introduced new features and promotional items, fans noticed that several small elements from the original games were removed or changed.
One minor detail from Pro Skater 3’s iconic Canada level has been changed. A character known for peeing off the edge was updated to “have better bladder control.”
Despite being a small change, Kurt Tillmanns, the director of THPS 3 + 4, addressed it, saying: “Our old Canadian friend is not gone; he has just learned some much-needed bladder control. There is even a pro goal where you can help him hydrate.”
The developers also responded to a second Easter egg. Reddit user will-powers posted in the THPS subreddit, pointing out that one of Activision’s beloved (but forgotten) franchises—Guitar Hero—was shown in the trash on the Waterpark level.

While it might have been a harmless or cheeky nod from the devs, some community members found it disrespectful. That prompted a response from the developers in the same thread:
“We have the utmost respect for anyone who makes games. We’re investigating how that got in there in the first place. Thank you to the community for bringing this to our attention, and we’ll be removing that from the environment art in the next update.”
