Umamusume: Pretty Derby has recently announced a new event called Halloween Makeover, with banners for the Halloween Costume versions of Super Creek and Rice Shower, as well as a Halloween-themed SSR Support Card banner featuring Tamamo Cross and Zenno Rob Roy.
The Halloween Makeover event has started from November 24 and will last till December 6. Once the event finishes, the banners will also be removed. The event will also feature many rewards, alongside a short event story that can be unlocked by gathering event points.
Halloween Makeover Event Banners
The Halloween Makeover’s Trainee banner features [Vampire Makeover] Rice Shower and [Chiffon-Wrapped Mummy] Super Creek.
Rice Shower comes with a unique Stamina Recovery skill called Every Rose Has Its Fangs that allows you to drain the stamina of all the runners ahead while duelling against another racer in the late race. Super Creek, on the other hand, comes with a skill called Give Mummy A Hug, which allows her to break out of the crowd during the last phase.
For the Support Card Banner, you can get the [Beware! Halloween Night!] Tamamo Cross and [Magical Heroine] Zenno Rob Roy. Tamamo Cross’s is a Power Card, while Zenno Rob Roy’s Support Card is of the Speed stat.
Tamamo Cross’s Support Card features a variety of Medium Track skills for the Late Surger strategy users. On the other hand, Zenno Rob Roy’s card has both Pace Chaser and Late Surger strategy skills, and can be good for your trainee if they excel at those strategies.
Halloween Makeover Event Support Card
The Halloween Makeover story features 8 episodes, and each of them can be unlocked by gathering event points. Furthermore, you can also get [The Ghost Finds Halloween Magic] Mihono Bourbon’s SSR Wit Support Card as a reward for watching the final event story episode.
For the other remaining 4 copies, you can get 3 of them from the roulette, and the final one can be obtained by gathering at least 400,000 event points during the duration of the event.
You can gather event points by completing Event Missions that require you to compete in certain races in the Career mode or participate in Team Trails. Furthermore, for the first time, Umamusume: Pretty Derby has introduced a feature that allows you to consume double the TP to get twice as many event rewards out of the Career mode.
However, keep in mind that this feature only affects the event rewards and will have no effect on regular rewards obtained from the Career mode. You can further enhance the event points received at the end of the Career by using Support Cards of Umas featured in the event, such as Super Creek, Rice Shower, and Mihono Bourbon.
