Borderlands 4 is starting things off with a Twitch Drop campaign that lets you unlock an exclusive cosmetic before the game even launches. By watching eligible livestreams, you can grab the “Watch, Drop, and Roll” ECHO-4 Drone Skin for free.

You can get the free “Watch, Drop, and Roll” ECHO-4 Drone Skin (cosmetic) from August 29, 2025, 1:00 PM PT, to September 29, 2025, 11:59 M PT.
How to Get Your Borderlands 4 Twitch Drop
1. Link Your Accounts
- Connect your SHiFT and Twitch accounts before claiming the reward.
2. Watch Eligible Streams
- Log in with your linked Twitch account.
- Watch 30 minutes of Borderlands 4 streams with Drops enabled.
- A ‘Drops’ progress bar will appear at the top of the Twitch chat.
3. Claim Your Reward
- Once you hit 30 minutes, Twitch will let you claim the reward.
- Make sure you do it within 24 hours, or it will expire.
Extra Streams Before Launch
Gearbox will also be re-streaming trailers on the official Borderlands Twitch channel on September 9 at 9:00 AM PT and 5:00 PM PT. Watching those for 30 minutes will also count toward the Drop. Since players do not yet have the game, these official streams are your best bet to earn the skin early.
