Many players have long awaited the economic changes for Fellowship, but will they have a big impact? Hamish Bode, Community Director for Chief Rebel, released a video on the Fellowship YouTube channel today about upcoming changes to Fellowship’s economy and details on the coinciding Holiday event. Let’s see if the overhaul will improve the quality of Quickplay matches and promote a healthier overall game environment!
These changes will arrive following the server maintenance on Thursday, December 11th at 7:00 am CET.
Notice Board
There’s a new way to keep up with in-game announcements: the Notice Board! This will pop up when you first load the game, before choosing a server to log in to.
You can also access the Notice Board from the Stronghold lobby by interacting with the physical Notice Board.
Economy Changes
Marks of Fellowship will no longer drop from Quickplay dungeons and are now guaranteed to drop from Challenge mode dungeons. A base of 1 Mark of Fellowship is guaranteed on completion of Challenge mode dungeons.
Additional Marks of Fellowship can be earned as well, with a drop chance that scales up with difficulty. This means the higher the difficulty, the higher the chance of dropping an additional Mark of Fellowship. The chance of getting a 2nd Mark of Fellowship upon completing a Contender-level dungeon is low, while completing the Paragon Capstone will guarantee the 2nd Mark of Fellowship upon completion.

What Happens to Timed Boxes?
The Resources Vendor, Storekeeper Keiren, will no longer sell their timed boxes. This includes the:
- Supplies Box,
- Unstable Artisan Supply Boxes,
- Imbued Artisan Supply Boxes, and
- the Arcane Artisan Supply Box.
Instead, this vendor will allow players to directly purchase the desired materials by exchanging them for Marks of Fellowship.
The Resources Vendor will still offer the Blacksmith Supply Box. The Blacksmith Supply box will no longer be locked behind a timer when purchased. The contents of the Blacksmith Supply Box will not change.

2025 Holiday Event Details
This week’s patch brings the Holiday Event. This event will include a new event vendor, new dungeon curses, holiday hero skins, holiday mounts, and even a secret mount to unlock.
New Dungeon Curses
New curses are added to Adept+; each one summons a unique Winter Spirit somewhere within your dungeon. Each Winter Spirit is optional to fight.
If your party chooses to fight and defeat them, these Winter Spirits will give your party a themed buff and add bonus time to your Dungeon Timer. After defeating them, these spirits may show up and help you later, so try them out!
Snowballs
With the Stronghold becoming a snowy landscape, it’s only natural that snowballs come with it! Inside the Stronghold lobby, check out the addition of Snowball Piles. Interacting with these piles grants 10 Snowballs that you can throw while in the Stronghold. ☃️
To use the Snowballs, you must equip them to one of your Ability Bars by adding with your right mouse button on the desired Ability Slot. If you don’t want to mess with your existing Ability Bars, you can edit your UI to enable a separate Ability Bar for your new Snowball ability.
Holiday Hero Skins
As with the previous Halloween Event, heroes will gain new skins to unlock during the Holiday event. It looks like there will be 2 holiday skin variants available to earn per hero. These skins and the 3 holiday mounts are earned by exchanging Warm Wishes with the Holiday Event Vendor, Old Thistlefrost.
Warm Wishes are earned through a new set of nodes within the Rewards star map. It looks like these rewards are unlocked by defeating the new Winter Spirits in each dungeon. Be sure to start working on them when you can!
Each hero will have a skin that costs 4 Warm Wishes and a skin that costs 16 Warm Wishes. There are four mounts to unlock by exchanging Warm Wishes: Warmheart Drafthorse, Whitemane Wolf, Cindermaw, and Willy Wind-Up. Each mount costs 4, 16, 30, and 60 Warm Wishes, respectively.
