The next big expansion for The Sims 4 has officially been revealed! Titled Adventure Awaits, the pack is launching on October 2, 2025 at 7 PM CEST across PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.

On top of that, if you order before November 13, 2025 you will also unlock the Warm & Cozy Digital Pack. It includes the Toasty Tower Lamp, Toast-Tea Kettle, and Toasty Tootsies Socks.
Getaways & Custom Venues
Adventure Awaits sends you straight on vacation, and you will love it. Players can now create Getaways that last from a single day to multiple, ranging from relaxing retreats to competitive challenges.
- You can add special rules, like Elimination Mode where Sims compete in skills or relationships.
- Build and share Custom Venues through the Gallery.
- A new Competitive Trait makes Sims shine in challenge-based games.
Childhood Adventures
Kids can also have more fun! Find out all the new ways to play and grow. The fun Sims will have as kids, will set the stage for the rest of their lives:
- Develop new traits and long-lasting Childhood feelings and memories.
- Modular Playgrounds – Build slides, climbing structures, and fun activities.
- New Games – Hide & Seek, Rock-Paper-Scissors, and more.
- Imaginary Friends – Four dolls with unique personalities (Goofball, Competitive, Creative, Evil) that change how the kids play in surprising ways.
New Skills & Activities
Adventure Awaits also adds new skills and fun for all ages:
- New Skills – Papercraft, Entomology, Diving, Archery.
- Water & Outdoor Fun – Diving boards, waterslides, and kayaks.
- Fitness Additions – Spin bikes, free weights, and smoothies with the new Blender.
Explore Gibbi Point
A new world, Gibbi Point, brings three distinct neighborhoods to explore:
- Wanderwood Wilds
- Crystal Valley
- Jellyfish Junction
You can attend festivals, uncover quests, and meet unique Sims as you discover natural wonders like erupting geysers, bioluminescent bays, and jellyfish lagoons. Each neighborhood also offers its own Getaway location, Camp Gibbi Gibbi, Revive & Thrive, and Love Highland.
For career-focused players, the new Park Worker path can branch into becoming either a Park Ranger or a Camp Counselor. And if you are lucky, you might spot the mysterious Plumbird!
