Where Winds Meet is getting into the holiday spirit with a new update that adds more endgame content, higher level caps, and a limited-time Winter Solstice event that will grant you a few very nice free rewards!
New Hero’s Realm – Blazing Gale Dance
A new Hero’s Realm campaign is now available, and it is the Blazing Gale Dance.
“With one dance, wind and flame rise — and the path I walk is mine alone.”
This new Hero’s Realm is a 10-player campaign designed for level 66+ characters. You will face off against Murong Yuan and the fearsome Twin Lions, making it a solid challenge for coordinated groups looking for even tougher encounters.
If you have been waiting for new high-level content to sink your teeth into, this one is clearly made for you. Keep in mind that those fights require the group to work together. They have specific mechanics that need to be respected if you want to avoid wiping over and over. If you go in with a pick-up group, make sure you coordinate with the other team members to make sure everyone knows their role and what they have to do during the fight!
Level Caps Have Been Raised
Alongside the new Hero’s Realm, the update also increases progression limits:
- Solo Mode level cap raised to 9
- Character level cap increased to 70
That means more room to grow your character and better preparation for higher-difficulty content moving forward. You will definitely need the power to make it through the new Hero’s Realm!
Winter Solstice Event – Chase the Sun
To mark the Winter Solstice, Where Winds Meet is also running a limited-time login event called Chase the Sun. The Winter Solstice is one of China’s 24 solar terms, symbolizing the return of longer days and renewed life, and the game is celebrating it with free rewards.
The event runs from December 20 to December 28, 2025. To get all the free items, you will have to log in for any 4 days during the event. You do not need to log in every day. Just four days during the event period are enough to claim everything.
The event rewards include:
- Echo Jades
- One Sesame Rice Ball Headpiece
Between the new Hero’s Realm, raised level caps, and a simple login event, this update gives everyone a good reason to jump back into Where Winds Meet over the holidays.
