Where Winds Meet Goes Mobile With Full Cross-Play This December

Where Winds Meet is about to have its next big step: the game is getting a full mobile release on December 12, complete with cross-play and shared progression across PC and PlayStation. If you have been enjoying the game since its global launch, this basically means you can take your Wuxia adventures anywhere.

The announcement also confirmed that mobile pre-registration is live on the official website, the Apple Store, and Google Play.

Mobile Release With Cross-Play

This is not a separate mobile spin-off. It is the same game, with the same characters, and the same world. Your progress carries over between platforms, so you can pick up your phone, play for a bit, and continue later on PC or PS without losing anything.

The developers call the mobile version a “portable Jianghu,” which fits very well. With the game launching on every major platform now, Where Winds Meet is clearly trying to establish itself as a full cross-platform open-world RPG. The only real question is how well the mobile version will run, especially when it comes to optimization and controls.
