NetEase has shared the full December 2025 roadmap for Where Winds Meet, and it will be one of the game’s most active months yet. You can expect a lot of content, from new regions and bosses to limited-time activities, events, and more. On top of that, the game will also launch globally on mobile! December is definitely going to be full of new content that everyone can enjoy.
Global Mobile Launch
One of the biggest surprises this month is the official global launch of Where Winds Meet on mobile on December 12 (UTC). Mobile players can jump in alongside ongoing content updates, making this a perfect entry point into the wuxia open-world RPG.
New Region: Roaring Sands
December also introduces Roaring Sands, a new region filled with desert landscapes, new stories, and new challenges.
With the new area also comes the River Master campaign, expanding the game’s main story even more.
New Bosses to Fight
Two big new bosses will also be added this month:
- River Master, who is linked to the new story content
- Feng Ruzhi, who is launching as a dedicated boss encounter on the map
As always, you can expect intense fights and a ton of very nice rewards if you dare to challenge them.
Trials, Realms, and Limited-Time Events
December also brings several other activities that will be especially interesting for endgame players:
- Hero’s Realm: Blazing Gale Dance
- Sword Trial: Scarlet Shock
- Multiple limited-time activities, including Fortune Beyond Parlor and The Great Faceologist
These events come with new mechanics, cosmetics, and many additional rewards. Make sure to complete them in time if you want to get everything!
Fireworks Festival & Seasonal Content
To close out the month, the Fireworks Festival arrives on December 30, adding a festive event to the world. Additional updates include the Velvet Shade Sect, as well as new Jianghu Legacy chapters are scheduled throughout the month as well.
With a new region, challenging bosses, and mobile launching worldwide, December 2025 is a major milestone for Where Winds Meet. You can explore the Roaring Sands for the first time or jump in on mobile; either way, this roadmap offers plenty to keep players busy through the end of the year.
