The latest Wuthering Waves livestream just ended, and yes, there is a lot to come for Version 2.5. We have all the details right here! From new events and story updates, to a new resonator, deep-sea exploration, nightmare echoes, and more.

New 5-Star Resonator Phrolova
This patch comes with a new character that we have seen during the story before, Phrolova. She is a Havoc-type Resonator who fights using an Amplifier that is basically a violin. Her entire kit is themed around music, and this makes her quite unique.
She gathers Volatile Notes, builds up partitions, and when it all comes together, unleashes her Scarlet Coda and enters Resolving Chord state. She can also command her partner Hecate to attack enemies.
She also comes with her signature weapons, Lethean Elegy, a black, and red violin-shaped weapon with deep connections to her story.
Overture Quests
A new type of quests is added for version 2.5, the Overture quests. Called “Rust, Sword and the Sun”, this new quest lets you experience a short story and gameplay that will set the stage for the future Main Quests.
Basically, some sort of in-between mini-quest.
New Region – Fabricatorium of the Deep
This update also introduces a new underwater zone called the Fabricatorium of the Depths. It is a secret research facility, surrounded by ruins and glowy plants.
You will meet new puzzles, exploration systems, enemies, and more! The area also comes with new Nightmare Echoes:

- Nightmare: Glacio Predator
- Phatom Echo: Nightmare Inferno Rider
