Xbox Game Pass users will lose three titles, including the critically acclaimed Persona 3: Reload, on August 15. While this is not surprising, as games frequently enter and exit Xbox’s Game Pass, players have less than a week left to enjoy Persona 3: Reload.
All Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in August
Among the games leaving Xbox Game Pass this month, the most notable is Persona 3: Reload. Released in 2024, the game received outstanding reviews and boasts an overall critic rating of 87. Persona 3: Reload stands out as one of the highest-rated games currently available on Game Pass, especially with the release of the amazing Episode Aigis – The Answer later that same year.

- Anthem
- Farming Simulator 22
In August, along with Persona 3: Reload, two other games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass: Farming Simulator 22 and Anthem. Many fans probably won’t miss Anthem since the servers will fully shut down on January 12, 2026. Likewise, the departure of Farming Simulator 22 is unlikely to cause much concern, especially with the recent addition of Farming Simulator 25 to the service.
New Game Pass Games for August 2025
In light of Persona 3: Reload’s departure, new games are joining the lineup alongside Farming Simulator 25.
All Games Joining Xbox Game Pass in August:
- Farming Simulator 25 – Available Now
- Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced – August 12
- Herdling – August 21
- Gears of War: Reloaded – August 26
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced will be added to Game Pass on August 12, followed closely by Herdling on August 21. However, the most highly anticipated game in this lineup is Gears of War: Reloaded, which is set to release on August 26.
Although it’s disappointing to see Persona 3: Reload leave, August’s Game Pass lineup looks fantastic so far. Senua’s Saga offers a gripping story rich in psychological horror that you won’t want to miss. If you’re looking for a more relaxing and atmospheric experience, be sure to check out Herdling. And remember, everyone’s favorite third-person shooter is making its long-awaited return at the end of the month with Gears of War: Reloaded, so don’t miss out!
