During a recent interview with MKAU Gaming, Lead Classic Designer Tim Jones confirmed that Blizzard will be releasing at least one 10-player raid and one 20-player raid for every raid Tier in WoW: Forever.

Jones goes on to explain that this commitment is made to support the social structures of both small and large guilds. Regardless of a guild’s preferences, the team on WoW: Forever wants to make sure that there is always new content for groups of any size to complete.
When the first raids go live on December 9th, players will be treated to three raids in this first raid Tier, with the 10-player Barrow Deeps, 20-player Hyjal Summit, and the 40-player Onyxia’s Lair. This commitment also lines up with what Blizzard has previously revealed on their 2026-2027 roadmap, with two new raids expected to release in Spring 2027, and one revamped raid and another new raid coming next Summer.
