Endgame players in Arknights: Endfield are about to get something new to play through! If you waited for the right time to test out your Tangtang team, the Umbral Monument mode is getting an update with a new series called “Searing Scars,” bringing even more challenges for those who want more combat and a reason to jump back in if you have been done with the current content.

A New Series, With a Familiar Challenge

The update adds three new stages, each split into Normal and Agony difficulty.

Normal mode is basically your starting point, but Agony is where things get serious. It is designed for players who have already pushed their builds and want something that actually fights back.

And like before, there is a small “flex” reward too:

  • Clear everything on Normal → you get the engraved medal
  • Clear everything on Agony → you get the trimmed version

So yeah, if you care about 100% completion, you already know where this is going.

Limited-Time Rewards on Top

Alongside the update, there is also the usual short event running from March 26 to April 9, linked directly to Umbral Monument. By clearing challenges during that period, you will obtain extra rewards like:

  • Mark of Perseverance
  • Advanced Cognitive Carrier
  • Arms INSP Set
  • Protohedron

Nothing completely game-breaking, but definitely worth picking up if you are already running the mode.

Worth Jumping Back In?

If you have been ignoring Umbral Monument lately, or if you already completed all the previous challenges, this is probably the moment to come back. The content has not changed much, but new stages and additional Agony difficulty are usually enough to keep endgame players busy for a little bit.

At the very least, it is more engaging than just repeating the same runs, and that is kind of what Endfield needs right now.
