As players spend more and more time experimenting with Arknights: Endfield‘s outpost system, the community has already started breaking down how to get the most value out of it. One fan-made guide is currently getting popular on social media, listing which Operator works best for each Outpost.

This offers a useful overview for anyone trying to optimize their Outposts. You can take a look at the original post from perlicadaily here:

How Outpost Skills Actually Work

Outpost skills are essentially passive bonuses that increase how much your outposts generate over time. Each outpost uses three different skill slots, all linked to specific operator traits.

The first skill boosts the prosperity gained from trading, the second increases stock bills earned, and the third improves stock bill generation.

The important part is that the bonus does not scale with operator level or rarity. As long as the operator has the matching trait, they provide the same benefit. What matters is matching the correct faction, hobby, or expertise required by the outpost.

The only exception is Sky King Flats, which uses an expertise requirement instead of a faction for its first slot.

Which Skills Matter the Most?

Ideally, you want all three skill slots filled, but that is not always realistic, especially early on.

For outposts that are not maxed, stacking bonuses gives the best long-term gains. Once an outpost is fully upgraded, the third skill becomes less valuable on its own, and combinations involving the first two tend to perform better.

The general recommendation is to prioritize boosting non-maxed outposts first, since that is where the extra income makes the biggest difference over time.

Best Operators for Each Outpost

Based on the previously mentioned post and personal testing, we can agree that the following operators are currently the best for each Outpost:

The idea here is not to constantly micromanage and just set up what is overall the best, so you do not have to swap Operators with each cycle.

For players who set their outposts up properly early, the passive income difference adds up fast over time. And with more operators expected to join the roster, the “best” assignments will probably change as new trait combinations become available.

For now, though, these community-tested setups provide a solid baseline for anyone who just wants their outposts running efficiently without constantly needing to go back to them and change things.
