With Tangtang arriving in the upcoming update for Arknights: Endfield this week, the developers have finally also shared the details for her signature weapon, Brigand’s Calling, a Handcannon designed around boosting Cryo damage and status interactions.
The weapon originates from the Hongshan Swordmancers, featuring a lightweight design meant to remain reliable even in complex combat environments. Basically, the perfect weapon for a Supreme Leader!
For those who already planned to pull for Tangtang and her weapon and prepared gear ahead of the banner, you can now properly farm for the weapon’s Essence as well. The weapon’s bonuses make it pretty clear which essence stats you will want to target.
Brigand’s Calling Weapon Effects
Brigand’s Calling provides the following stats:
- Agility Boost L
- Attack Boost L
Its special effect, Detonate: Brigand’s Bane, enhances Cryo gameplay. It increases Cryo damage dealt, and when the wielder’s Battle Skill or Ultimate applies Cryo infliction, the wielder gains additional Cryo damage for a short duration. On top of that, when the wielder’s Battle Skill or Ultimate applies Arts Susceptibility, affected enemies take increased Arts damage.
It is also important to know that both effects trigger independently and cannot stack with each other.
Best Essence to Farm
Based on the weapon’s bonuses, players looking to optimize Brigand’s Calling will likely want to prioritize a specific set of essence attributes. As a reminder, each essence can roll one main attribute and one secondary stat, along with a skill effect. For this weapon, the ideal combination will be:
- Main Attribute: Agility
- Secondary Stat: Attack Boost
- Skill Effect: Detonate
This is the best Essence type that you can put on Tangtang’s signature weapon.
Where to Farm the Right Essences
Detonate Essences can only be farmed in two different locations:
- The Hub
- Wuling City
These zones provide the essence rolls needed to chase the Agility, Attack, and Detonate combination required for Brigand’s Calling. The banner is almost here, and right now you still have the Sanitary event running, so now is your time if you want to get her signature weapon ready to go right away.
