Once you hit late game in Arknights: Endfield, gear progression slows down hard, and that is usually when players first hear about Xiranite Components. They are not optional, they are not niche, and they are not something you can brute-force with random farming.
If you want to craft Lv.70 endgame gear, you will eventually need to understand how Xiranite Components work, how their production chain fits together, and how to automate it properly so it does not eat all your time and materials.
Here is a clear breakdown of how Xiranite Components work, what you need to unlock them, and how to farm them efficiently without turning your AIC Factory into a mess.
What Are Xiranite Components
As mentioned, Xiranite Components are used to craft Lv.70 endgame gear in Arknights Endfield.
That includes gold-tier sets like Laevatain’s Best-in-Slot set, Hot Work.
If you are pushing late-game content, you will eventually have to optimize your Operators, so there is no way around them. They are a pretty much a hard requirement for optimal builds.
What makes them important is not just their power, but the fact that they are locked behind story progression, require multiple production chains working together, and each component consumes a large amount of Xiranite, making inefficient setups painfully slow.
In short, if your factory is not ready, endgame gear will feel completely out of reach.
Prerequisites: What You Need Before Farming
Before you can even start producing Xiranite Components, make sure you have:
- Access to the Wuling zone
- Progressed through The Way of Water main questline
- Unlocked Xiranite production through the story
- A stable factory setup with reliable power generation
If you are missing any of these, the production chain simply will not work yet.
How Xiranite Components Are Crafted
Xiranite Components on their own are not that hard. They do not require ten thousand materials to be crafted. They are crafted inside the AIC Factory, just like most endgame materials, and in theory, you only need two different things:
- 10 Packed Origocrust
- 10 Xiranite
Both are processed together in a Gearing Unit.

The complexity comes from producing those two materials consistently and at scale. Most problems happen because players underestimate how fast the materials are consumed once you start crafting components.
Producing Xiranite
You can sadly not really farm for Xiranite since it is crafted using the Forge of the Sky. This Forge gets unlocked when you progress through the Wuling main story, so just keep doing that until you get access to it. Once you have your Forge of the Sky, you also need the following materials to craft Xiranite:
- 2 Stabilized Carbon
- Clean Water

Once running, it produces Xiranite continuously. The problem is consumption. Each Xiranite Component uses 10 Xiranite, and that means a single Forge is rarely enough if you want reasonable crafting speed. For most endgame setups, you need at least two Forges feeding into one Gearing Unit.
How to Produce Packed Origocrust
Packed Origocrust is part of a longer refinement chain that starts with Originium Ore and Sandleaves. It can look a bit messy, but once it is set up, it flows pretty nicely. You basically need:
- Originium Ore
- Refining Unit -> Origocrust
- Shredding Unit -> Origocrust Powder
- Sandleaf
- Shredding Unit -> Sandleaf Powder
- Merge the Origocrust Powder and Sandleaf Powder inside a Grinding Unit -> Dense Origocrust Powder
- Refining Unit -> Packed Origocrust
It is a multi-step process, but once automated, it runs indefinitely. You also want to make sure feed two Originium chains into it to make sure it does not block anywhere and has enough materials to keep running.

Gear Templates – Do Not Forget These
Even with materials ready, you still need Gear Templates to craft gold-tier equipment.
These come from Gear Template Crates scattered throughout Wuling. Once you discover them, they are marked directly on the map, making finding them much easier.
If you are missing templates, track the icons on the map to collect them.
Recommended Endgame Factory Blueprint
If you would rather use a tested solution instead of building everything manually, here are a few endgame blueprints that are really nice and easy to place. Be careful, not all codes work for all servers.
Blueprint codes:
- EU / NA:
- Compact but easy Xiranite Component Farm – EFO0158OE6oE53uOeIoe
- 4 Wide Xiranite Component Line – EFO01iOe7oao512e472U4
- Fast Xiranite Component – EFO010U97187Oui9E179
- Asia:
- 1 Stabilized Carbon Production – EFO01I3A52O7iU97a5o08
- 2 Xiranite Component – EFO017i89a6I3o552O0Ai
- Easy Xiranite Component – EFO018IeE88e4u1iUI73
As long as you can supply enough power, those layouts drastically reduce factory micromanagement and help you get started in endgame. You can also look for more blueprints on community sites like Talos Pioneers or Endfield Tools if you need any other component, battery, or med packs.
Xiranite Components are the main thing you need in Arknights Endfield’s endgame. Once you understand the production chain and automate it properly, the grind becomes much more manageable, and future gear upgrades stop feeling painful.
If you are already at Lv.70, setting this up sooner rather than later is absolutely worth it. Do not forget to upgrade your Outposts as well and to use them to farm other required materials.
