Optimized Zipline Networks Are Becoming Part of Endfield’s Endgame

As more players reach the mid-to-late game of Arknights: Endfield, ziplines are starting to feel less like a convenience feature and more like something you are expected to optimize.

Recently, players began sharing fully planned zipline routes for every major area, mapping out the most efficient paths between Teleport Points, depot nodes, and resource zones. The goal is simply to spend less time running and more time actually playing.

The Importance of Ziplines

Talos-II is built around large, resource-heavy regions where constant on-foot travel quickly becomes inefficient. Once unlocked, player-built ziplines effectively turn the map into a private transit network, linking mining areas, outposts, and Teleport Points.

That is why optimized routes matter. A well-planned network does not just save a bit of time, but it completely changes how fast you can farm materials, move between objectives, and maintain logistics.

For many players, unlocking ziplines through the AIC Plan system is one of the biggest quality-of-life upgrades in the entire game.

From Early Pylons to Late-Game Networks

Early on, most players rely on Zipline Pylons. Those are cheaper and easier to place. Later, as materials become more available, Zipline Towers will be easier to use. The range is longer, and they are more efficient. Recommended routes usually focus on:

  • Connecting Teleport Points to rare resource clusters
  • Using Teleport Points as hubs, then zipping out to key locations
  • Minimizing wasted placements to stay under zone limits

Some players are even using small tricks, like extending power lines through terrain via teleporting, to simplify placement in difficult areas.

Recommended Ziplines

Many players have figured out the best routes for Ziplines, and we found one creator who made clear optimized routes through each zones, you can check it out here from vincenttime491. These will lead you to the most important spots in each zone.

What is interesting is that none of this is strictly required. You can play Endfield without a perfect zipline setup. But once you see how much faster optimized routes make everything, exploration, farming, and even routine maintenance, it is hard to go back. Ziplines quietly become part of Endfield’s long-term efficiency game, especially for players who plan to stick around.

As more zones and updates are added, we will likely see even more refined route maps shared by the community!
