The next limited banner is about to go live in Arknights: Endfield, and it is bringing one of the most burst-focused DPS units we have seen so far.
Yvonne is not a flexible all-rounder. She is something much more specific, and potentially much more dangerous.
A Turret DPS Built for Boss Deletion
At her core, Yvonne is a single-target Cryo carry whose entire kit revolves around setting up one massive burst window. Her gameplay loop is simple in theory:
Build Cryo stacks → trigger Solidification → ultimate → unload everything.
In practice, it is a bit more demanding than that.
Her Ultimate costs 220 energy, and that is extremely high! Once activated, she becomes stationary for seven seconds. During that window, she gains massive Crit bonuses and bonus damage against Solidified enemies. But she cannot move, and that means you are vulnerable during that window.
If your setup is clean and your timing is right, she absolutely shreds bosses.
If your rotation falls apart or you misposition, her value drops quickly.
She is not forgiving, but she rewards precision.
Yvonne Is Interesting Right Now
Yvonne feels slightly ahead of the current roster, and that makes her a very good addition. She already has strong synergy with Cryo and Nature debuff teams, but she is missing what many players would call her “perfect” support. She would need someone who restores skill points without consuming stacks.
But that also means:
- Her damage ceiling is already high
- But her theoretical potential is not even fully unlocked yet
This makes her one of those characters that could age extremely well if future operators complete her even better than the current ones do.
For players who enjoy optimizing rotations and squeezing every percentage point of damage out of a burst window, she is going to feel great.
For players who prefer mobility or AoE flexibility, less so.
When Does Her Banner Go Live?
Yvonne arrives with the Hues of Passion Chartered Headhunting banner starting on February 24, 2026 (UTC+8 Asia / UTC-5 Americas & Europe) and available until the next version update.
She is the featured 6-star Rate-Up and, like other Chartered Headhunting units, will rotate out after three cycles and will not enter the Basic pool. She will also still be available for 2 more banners after she rotates out.
There is also a limited sign-in event running alongside it.
Is Yvonne Worth Pulling?
There are pros and cons to Yvonne, so here is the clearest answer you will get.
- Pull If:
- You want a dedicated Cryo boss killer
- You enjoy burst-oriented, rotation-heavy gameplay
- You are building an Ice/Nature-focused team
- You do not mind immobile damage windows
- Maybe Skip If:
- You prioritize AoE DMG
- You prefer mobile DPS characters
- Your account lacks Cryo/Nature support to use in her team
- You are saving for a future Operator
- You already have a complete team around Last Rite
Right now, she is a strong but specialized DPS. Not mandatory. Not weak. Not broken. But very capable, and potentially future-proof if Endfield expands Cryo support options.
