In our Yvonne guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Yvonne, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Yvonne's Best Weapons

Artzy Tyrannical

• Intellect Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
• Critical Rate Boost [L] +19.5% (9/9)

Fracture: Artzy Exaggeration:
Cryo DMG Dealt +25.6%. After the wielder scores a critical hit with a battle skill or combo skill, the wielder gains Cryo DMG Dealt +22.4% for 30s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.

Navigator

• Intellect Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
• Cryo DMG Boost [L] +43.33% (9/9)

Infliction: Lone and Distant Sail:
Critical Rate +5.6%. When Solidification or Corrosion is applied to enemies, the wielder gains Cryo DMG Dealt and Nature DMG Dealt +5.6%, and Critical Rate +3.2% for 15s. If this effect is triggered by the wielder, double the increase gained. Effects of the same name cannot stack.

Wedge

• Main Attribute Boost [L] +132.0 (9/9)
• Critical Rate Boost [L] +19.5% (9/9)

Infliction: Wedge of Civilization:
Arts DMG Dealt +19.2%. When the wielder casts a battle skill, the wielder gains Arts DMG Dealt +12.8% for 15s. When the wielder's battle skill applies an Arts Reaction, the wielder gains Arts DMG Dealt +25.6% for 15s. The two effects apply separately and do not stack with themselves.

Opus: The Living

• Agility Boost [M] +124.0 (9/9)
• Arts Boost [M] +34.67% (9/9)

Infliction: Road Home for All Life:
Critical Rate +8.4%. When the wielder applies an Arts Reaction, the wielder gains ATK +21% for 20s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.

Howling Guard

• Intellect Boost [S] +93.0 (9/9)
• ATK Boost [S] +23.4% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost:
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.

Yvonne's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the weapon effects of your Yvonne. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

• Artzy Tyrannical: Intellect, Critical Rate Boost, and Fracture, farmable in Originium Science Park, Power Plateau, and Wuling City.
• Navigator: Intellect, Cryo DMG Boost, and Infliction, farmable in Originium Science Park, Origin Lodespring, Test Area, and Yinglung Pass.
• Wedge: Main Attribute, Critical Rate Boost, and Infliction, farmable in Originium Science Park, Origin Lodespring, Power Plateau, Marker Stone, Yinglung Pass, and North Wuling Exclusion Zone.
• Opus: The Living: Agility, Arts Dmg Boost, and Infliction, farmable in Originium Science Park, Marker Stone, Yinglung Pass, and North Wuling Exclusion Zone.
• Howling Guard: Intellect, Attack Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub, Originium Science Park, and Yinglung Pass.

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future, even if you do not have the weapon yet. A simple +1/+1/+1 Essence for a temporary weapon like Fortmaker or Wave Tide will be good enough until you can get your hands on Yvonne's Artzy Tyrannical or Wedge from Arsenal Ticket draws.

Best Gear for Yvonne

MI Security

3-piece set effect: Wearer's Critical Rate +5%. After the wearer scores a critical hit, the wearer gains ATK +5% for 5s. This effect can reach 5 stacks. At max stacks, grant an additional Critical Rate +5%. This effect cannot stack.

While this set is accessible much earlier in your journey on Talos-II, it can still be quite useful even at higher levels!

Yvonne's Skill Priority

Picking Yvonne’s skill priority was a bit of a difficult task at first, but after looking at the numbers there was a clear order to things. We start with her Basic Attack. Since her Ultimate directly boosts her Basic Attack, you naturally want to ensure it has a very high level to benefit from the Ult buffs. Next is her Ultimate, which offers basic, powered, and additional attack damage multipliers to her Basic Attack. Her Normal skill will be third, with additional damage multipliers as well as multipliers that scale with when the enemy is affected by Cryo Infliction and Solidification. Last is her combo skill, as it only grants a few damage multipliers for itself.

How to Play Yvonne

Yvonne is an Operator that acts as hardcore Cryo DPS with a specialization in Solidification. Her optimal rotations involve chaining her Battle Skill on enemies with either Cryo or Nature infliction already applied to inflict solidification, performing a final strike on a solidified enemy, triggering combo skill, and then activating Ultimate to dish out maximum damage. Because a majority of her damage comes from her Basic Attack, its important to focus that specific skill as a main priority followed by her Ultimate, Battle Skill, and Combo Skill. As a striker, she will need support from an operator adept in applying elemental inflictions, so plan your team comp accordingly.
