OverpowerOverpower attacks deal up to x50% increased damage based on your current life percentage. Additionally, Overpower attacks gain +1% damage per 1% of your base life you have in Fortify and +1% damage per 1% of bonus life above your base life.

Overpower is a powerful effect that can help players deal huge amounts of additional damage to enemies. Overpower damage is based on the player’s current life and fortified life.

The more life a player has, the more damage they can do. However, Overpower damage is not very reliable, as it only has a 3% base chance of occurring when a skill is used.

How to Apply Overpower

Overpower can be triggered by both the player and enemies. However, not all classes can make good use of Overpower. For example: Only Druids, Barbarians, and Necromancers have skills that can guarantee the chance to Overpower.

There are some skills, items, and passives that can increase the effects of the Overpower status. Additionally, some Legendary Aspects can also enhance this effect, such as the Aspect of Rathma’s ChosenAspect of Rathma’s Chosen.

How to Recognize Overpower

When a skill overpowers, it will be visible through the color of the damage numbers:

  • White numbers show normal Damage dealt
  • Blue numbers show Overpower Damage dealt
  • Orange numbers show Overpower Damage combined with Critical Strike Damage dealt

Additional Information About Overpower

The Willpower stat increases the damage that can be done with Overpower attacks. For every point of Willpower the character has, an extra 0.25% Overpower Damage is added.

Against other players (PvP), Overpower Damage is capped at 150%.
