<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Interview Highlights</h2>



<ul>
<li>Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal are two different games. It&#8217;s a coincidence Diablo 4 is receiving a vampire-themed Season.</li>



<li>There are no plans to add Blood Knights to Diablo 4.</li>



<li>They have no plans for Public Test Realm testing of Diablo 4 patches in the near future because testing increases the development time and slows down patch releases. They are actively listening to community feedback and are looking into ways of making the feedback loop more fluid.</li>



<li>It took 10 years to develop the Solo Self-Found feature coming in the latest Diablo 3 patch.</li>



<li>Thanks to previous Diablo releases, the developers can look back to see which features worked out in the past.</li>

Blood Knight Not Coming to Diablo 4


<p>What does the new Rogue look like in <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/">Season 4</a>? </p>



<ul>
<li>Rogues received two new Unique Items in the update &#8212; <strong>Scoundrel&#8217;s Kiss</strong> and <strong>Saboteour&#8217;s Signet </strong>alongside a new Legendary Aspect called <strong>Aspect of High Velocity</strong>.</li>



<li>Inner Sight and Preparation saw big changes, such as a boost in Critical Strike Chance by 25% when the Inner Sight gauge is full and a reduction in energy requirement for Preparation from 100 to 75, making the skills much more dynamic and useful.</li>



<li>For Stun Grenade, the base duration for grenades has doubled.</li>



<li>The Victimize passive proc chance increased to 50%.</li>



<li>Exploit Weakness and Leyrana&#8217;s Instinct have been tweaked to offer increased damage and dodge chance.</li>



<li>Chip Glyph now offers a more substantial physical damage bonus of 9.9% for each 5 Dexterity.</li>

What’s New for Rogues in Season 4?


<p>The latest (and possibly greatest) Diablo 4 season is a little over a day away! Loot Reborn bringing the fastest way to maximum level in the game so far with <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/major-leveling-and-experience-xp-changes-shake-things-up-in-diablo-4-season-4/">its many XP improvements</a>. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Did Leveling Change in Season 4?</h2>



<p>Season 4 will bring many improvements and cut down plenty of time in the leveling department. First off, experience gains have been increased as much as 50% in all World Tiers except No.1. Secondly, events in dungeons are now more worth-while, as they have also had their XP gains buffed. So don&#8217;t skip those when you&#8217;re in a dungeon! And as a final bonus, there are now rank 2 elixirs, which increase XP gains by 8%. This can be relevant for the later levels. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Are Helltides the Place to Level in Season 4?</h2>



<p>In short: absolutely. Season 4 is very much the Helltide season, as there have been many changes to it. There&#8217;s significantly increased mob density via the new Threat system, with more and more enemies attacking you as you gain more threat. At the maximum threat level, you will be ambushed by a maximum enemy density group, with a boss at the end. </p>



<p>Helltides are the way to go early, as they now appear in World Tiers 1 and 2 as well. Once you arrive in WT3, you&#8217;ll want to split your attention between the tides and Nightmare Dungeons. At WT4 your focus should mostly be on the dungeons, due to Paragon Glyph experience. Here&#8217;s a snippet from <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/speed-leveling-guide/">our guide</a> on the subject: </p>



<p>&#8220;Depending on your skill, level, build and/or party you’re playing with, you may end up having a better leveling efficiency through Helltides over Nightmare dungeons. If this is the case you should always have Helltide as a fallback for gear upgrading and material collection, as the Nightmare dungeons provide you with Glyph experience that will boost your power significantly!&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">When Should I Do the Level 70 Capstone Dungeon and Go for WT4?</h2>



<p>This question is always extremely connected to the power of your current build and gear you&#8217;ve managed to collect. While certain very powerful builds can take the dungeon on as early as around level 50, you should probably wait until at least 60 so you don&#8217;t waste time. It takes a while to get to the boss, and while you could get there with a weaker build, he may prove too much for you and then you&#8217;ll have to re-clear it all once you return. Elias can be tricky!</p>

The Fastest Level 100 Path: Ultimate Speed Leveling for Season 4


<p>Necromancers are looking to be the most powerful class in Season 4! With Golems at the top and Skeletons close by, the minions may be in charge this time around. Billion-damage builds aren&#8217;t impossible with the new changes, so let&#8217;s see what&#8217;s happening. </p>



<p>There&#8217;s plenty of skill and passive changes, as well as Book of the Dead and Paragon node tweaks, and of course the Unique and Legendary Aspect tuning. </p>

The Best Class? Necromancer Changes in Season 4

A Huge Shakeup for Uniques and Legendary Aspects in Season 4 (All Item Changes)


<p>While there are many, many <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-4-loot-reborn-official-preview/">new features</a> and big, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-4-loot-reborn-patch-notes/">sweeping changes</a> coming with Season 4, there are also some smaller, but still pretty huge quality of life improvements added as well. And some of these are almost as significant as the big stuff! Well, not quite, but there&#8217;s still plenty to be happy about, and we&#8217;ll be checking out what that is here. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Zoomed Out Camera</h2>



<p>The single biggest QoL improvement, which really is a feature in and of itself, is definitely the availability of the new zoom level. Probably the most asked for feature since the game&#8217;s launch, we&#8217;ll soon be able to see more of the playing field. You can find the option to zoom further out in the Graphics Options part of the Settings menu.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Spur Mounts in Town</h2>



<p>While not necessarily the biggest, another one of the most asked for changes has to be the mount-town relationship. Players have been asking to be able to spur/charge their mounts in town since launch as well, and Season 4 is finally bringing the option to the game! Get ready to zip around from vendor to vendor at breakneck speeds! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Item-Related Improvements</h2>



<p>While the season certainly brings many major itemization changes, there&#8217;s also these smaller and very handy ones we shouldn&#8217;t forget about! </p>



<ul>
<li>A new stash filter option where we can sort gear by its item power. </li>



<li>Crafting materials are now sorted into rarities, so you can have a better idea of what exactly just dropped. </li>



<li>Ancestral items will be able to be received through gambling before player level 73! </li>



<li>All items in World Tier 3 will be Sacred and all items in WT4 will be Ancestral.</li>



<li>After level 28, the majority (~80%) of gear dropped that is not legendary will be rare. Additionally, chances to drop legendary items now scales more after reaching Level 50.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Movement-Related Improvements</h2>



<p>There are a couple of very useful changes when it comes to moving around in the world (on top of the mounts charging in town improvement we already mentioned). </p>



<p>First off, we finally get a fix for the traversal skill issues, where skills like Teleport and Leap would have issues traveling to the edges of the screen. They will now more easily reach where you point them. However, players on Ultrawide monitors (or just playing on Ultrawide resolutions on regular monitors) will no longer have longer travel distances for these skills, as their maximum movement has been capped! </p>



<p>The second change may seem small, but it&#8217;s another one of those most talked about little annoyances since launch. Picking up dungeon items such as Bloodstones, or activating switches and the like is now much faster! The channeling time to interact with these items has been reduced from 1-2 seconds down to .75 seconds!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Miscellaneous Improvements</h2>



<p>And finally we have some relatively random QoL stuff to check out:</p>

<li>The Gold cap has been increased from 9 trillion to 99 trillion.</li>



<li>Increased Murmuring Obols maximum capacity from 2,000 to 2,500.</li>



<li>Players can now change their hairstyle in the wardrobe.</li>



<li>There is now an option to highlight NPC’s, characters and enemies found within Sanctuary to make them easier to distinguish against different environments.

<p>With all the new additions to the game in Season 4, it would be easy to forget the &#8220;usual&#8221; changes that happen from season to season in D4. One of the major ones is the rotation of Nightmare Dungeons, as new ones come in each season! </p>

Nightmare Dungeon Rotation for Season 4


<p>We&#8217;ve recapped all the important Druid changes coming in the Season 4 patch!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Unique Items and Legendary Aspects</h2>



<p>Druids are getting a new Unique Ring come Season 4 called <strong>Earthbreaker </strong>that interacts with Landslide.</p>



<p>The second Unique Item is <strong>Wildheart Hunter</strong> that provides Druids with increased damage with Shapeshifting skills for a short period of time, stacking.</p>



<p><strong>Bold Chieftain&#8217;s</strong> is now usable by Druids.</p>



<p><strong>Aspect of Fevered Mauling </strong>&#8211; The new aspect gives you Damage reduction for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times, when you attack at least 1 enemy with Maul.</p>

<p>Blizzard made many changes aim to strengthen the Druid&#8217;s versatility, improve their survivability, and boost their damage output, in the latest Season 4 patch. Here are the highlights:</p>

<li>Energize now restores twice as much spirit (from 10 to 20).</li>



<li>Masochistic critical strike healing increased to 5%.</li>

<li>Claw damage increased by 10% with Enhanced Claw&#8217;s attack speed increased to 20%.</li>



<li>Maul damage increased by 10%. Enhanced Maul Fortify increased to 8% (up from 5%).</li>

<li>Shred&#8217;s damage increased by 10% with Enhanced Shred&#8217;s healing doubled to 4%.</li>

All Druid Changes in the Latest Season


<p>Diablo 4&#8217;s Season 4 is just around the corner and the game has received <em>massive</em> changes, so let&#8217;s dive in!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Itemization Overhaul</h2>



<p>The Season 4 patch introduces the biggest itemization update so far in the game.</p>

<li>Extracting an aspect upgrades it in the Codex of Power. All Aspects now reside in the Codex of Power.</li>

<p>The patch simplifies gem levels and improves their benefits, such as increased resistances and attribute bonuses, making them more impactful.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tempering and Masterworking Sysyrm</h2>



<p>The Tempering and Masterworking systems are designed to enhance your gear through customization and upgrading, providing players with tools to refine and power up their gear in specific ways.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Tempering System</h2>



<p>Tempering allows players to add two affixes to their items. Each affix can be adjusted within a range, improving the item&#8217;s stats based on the player&#8217;s preferences and needs. The system&#8217;s used for fine-tuning of gear to better iron our specific builds.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Masterworking System</h2>



<p>Masterworking allows players to significantly increase the base stats of items. The endgame crafting system, using materials earned from the Pit of Artificers to upgrade weapons.</p>



<p>Masterworking improves the overall strength of affixes on your weapon, and at every fourth tier, massively upgrades one of your equipped affixes. The affix that receives the bonus will turn Blue. If the affix is improved again, it will change to Yellow, and in the rarest cases, it will turn Orange if improved a third time.</p>

<p>Helltides have been revamped to provide a more challenging and rewarding experience. When you defeat enemies and open <strong>Tortured Gifts</strong>, you generate Threat that increases the intensity and frequency of enemy encounters. High levels of Threat culminate in battles against &#8220;Hellborn&#8221; enemies, who are powerful versions themed after the 5 Diablo 4 classes.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Pit of Artificers</h2>



<p>Do you remember Greater Rifts in Diablo 3? A similar end-game activity is coming in the Season 4 patch. You must kill as many enemies as possible within a timer to unlock crafting materials.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Leveling is Nuts in Season 4</h2>



<p>Each class received changes to improve gameplay balance and effectiveness in the patch. Changes such as cooldown caps, tweaks to damage reduction calculations, and improvements to evade mechanics will smooth out the player experience and allow for more strategic gameplay.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fight With the Iron Wolves</h2>

<p>Barbarians are getting a whole host of changes in Season 4, so it&#8217;s time to check them all out! </p>

<p>Then we&#8217;re on to all the actual changes. From skills to passives, Uniques and legendaries, with even the Barb-specific Weapon Expertise system getting modified, there&#8217;s plenty to see.</p>



<p>Dust Devils were dominating the Public Test Realm for the class, but got nerfed a little. The normalization of all Dust Devil-related powers was certainly a boon for them, nerf notwithstanding. They&#8217;ll definitely still be very popular when the season itself comes out, as they didn&#8217;t get hit quite that hard. Charge also took a hit, but it&#8217;s had quite the season already, so perhaps it was time to let go anyway! </p>

<li>Fixed an issue where Call of the Ancients was not properly scaling with Ultimate Skill Damage affixes.</li>
