Dear Warriors of Light, have you completed the Moonfire Faire event already? Final Fantasy XIV is preparing for its upcoming 11th Anniversary, so this event won’t be around for any longer! If you’ve forgotten, be sure to check out the event details below. There’s a free glamour set to pick up, as well as a new Jump Puzzle to complete!
How Long Will The Event Last?
This event is only around until Tuesday, August 26th at 7:59AM (PDT). So as of this writing, you better get on it soon!
How Do I Unlock the Moonfire Faire Event?

First, head to the quest location for “Dressed to Protect“! This quest is located in Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks at (X:11.5, Y:13.8). To accept the quest, you’ll need to have the following:
- At least Level 30 on any job or class,
- Access to Limsa Lominsa, Lower Decks, and
- Access to Eastern La Noscea or the Costa del Sol Aetheryte teleport
If you’re a Free Trial player, you can also participate too! Access to Limsa Lominsa is available to any new character who starts out as a Marauder or Arcanist. You can also access the City-State by completing your respective Level 15 Main Scenario Quest:
- The Gridanian Envoy (if your starting City-State is Gridania)
- The Ul’dahn Envoy (if your starting City-State is Ul’dah)
This is also true for seasonal events in other City-States after completing The Lominsan Envoy.
Once you accept Mayaru Moyaru’s seasonal quest, he’ll direct you to Eastern La Noscea, where you’ll complete the remainder of the quest. The closest Aetheryte teleport to the event is Costa del Sol.
The quest itself is fairly simple, and takes less than an hour to complete. You might need longer, so don’t wait until the last minute! After completing the quest, you’ll receive the free glamour pieces and a seasonal achievement.
Are the Moonfire Faire Event Rewards Good?

Generally, with all seasonal events, these are free rewards available for a limited-time. For this year’s Moonfire Faire event, players can obtain a full outfit glamour of Maritime Attire. All of the pieces have dual dye channels, one look for all genders, and storable in the armoire.
Armor Type | Name |
---|---|
Head | Maritime Mirrored Sunglasses |
Body | Maritime Top |
Legs | Maritime Shorts |
Feet | Maritime Sandals |
Notably, the head piece, Maritime Mirrored Sunglasses, is not a Facewear fashion accessory. As such, you can wear other Facewears with the Maritime Mirrored Sunglasses equipped.

If you don’t obtain the outfit glamour during this event, you’ll have to wait until the Moonfire Faire in 2026. By Moonfire Faire 2026, all players can purchase this glamour on the Mogstation’s Online Store. Is There Anything Else To Do in the Moonfire Faire?

Once you’ve completed the seasonal event, feel free to enjoy the scenery!

This year’s Moonfire Faire remodelled the Queen Lhaminn ship, so there are plenty of water slides and cannonballs! You can also G-Pose on the pool floaties or around the ship deck!

If taking photos isn’t your fancy, what about Jump Puzzles? Each Moonfire Faire features one, and this year is no exception! This new Jump Puzzle will test your skill and limits: are you up to the challenge? Feel free to check out a speed run by Azura Stargazer, who’ll show you exactly how to reach the top!
