The Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4 Dev Log finally happened, and we’re excited to talk about it!
The program opened with the Full Version Trailer. The Endministrator will lead their team through the Yinglung Pass to confront Ardashir in the North Wuling Exclusion Zone, close the Wuling Very Large Rift, and conclude the Wuling arc.
Headhunting
The two new Operators joining us this Version are Arcane and Liino.
Arcane is a Nature Caster who wields Arts Units. You can acquire her from the North Yearns the Rift Vigile banner on July 16th. She has two modes of play, which offer a ton of utility. Voiced by Julia Gu, the Premiere Operator Narrative Events are baked into Version 1.4’s Main Story.
Liino is an Electric Supporter who wields Polearms. You can acquire her from the Good Morning from Your Dawnstar banner on August 9th. Her kit provides intense Amp buffs and HP Treatment, while also providing SP Refund to the team, making her an obvious shoe-in for Zhuang Fangyi teams. Voiced by Maddie Matsumoto, Liino’s Narrative Event is called “Like a Star Streaking Through the Boundaries“.
As with every new Operator release, the sign-in events for Gaze North to the Rift and Bedazzling Dawnstar will each provide 5 dedicated pulls and some progression materials.

Arsenal Issue
With two new Operators comes two new signature weapons for the Arsenal Issue.
Type 42: Solemn Phalanx will be Arcane’s signature Arts Unit. It features the primary stat of Intellect Boost, Ultimate Gain Efficiency Boost, and Detonate. Those looking to pre-farm this Essence will want to tackle:
- The Hub
- Wuling City
- Qingbo Stockade
Bedazzling Night Debut will be Liino’s signature Polearm. It features the primary stat of Will Boost, Treatment Efficiency Boost, and Medicant. Those looking to pre-farm this Essence should look at:
- Power Plateau
- Wuling City
- Qingbo Stockade
- Sword Vault Dale
AIC Plan Update
Version 1.4 will also add Wuling AIC Plan Tier IV, which features a complete production set of gas-based facilities. You’ll need these to handle the gas-type materials, such as Pyrrolite Components, to craft new gear.
In terms of new gear pieces, these sets are getting new additions:
- Eternal Xiranite
- Hot Work
- LYNX
There are also the new gear sets, releasing in Version 1.4: Rift Trekker and AIC Fieldwork.
The upcoming Tier IV production facilities will also offer a complex new challenge.
New Protocol Pass
Blighted Sea is the upcoming iteration of the Protocol Pass. If you’re a fan of the Wuling Arc so far, consider picking up the featured Profile Theme and Portrait! They’re based on the Wuling Very Large Rift.
Junction Point will be Arcane’s Protocol Pass Arts Unit. It features the primary stat of Intellect Boost, Ultimate Gain Efficiency Boost, and Efficacy. Those looking to pre-farm this Essence should look at:
- The Hub
- Originium Science Park
- Marker Stone
Meanwhile, the Golden Age will be Liino’s Protocol Pass Polearm. It features the primary stat of Will Boost, Treatment Efficiency Boost, and Pursuit. Pre-farming this Essence is currently available at two spots:
- Power Plateau
- Sword Vault Dale
Talosite
Talosite’s a new collectable material in the overworld. This material can be exchanged for various cosmetic items such as Ornaments, Stickers, and Emote Poses for Camera mode.
Phonograph MKV-I
A new jukebox feature is being added to the Dijiang. You can go here to select from this game’s vast array of music for idle time in the Dijiang. If it works as expected, other Endministrators should be able to hear your music settings while they’re visiting!
Camera System Expansion
The Camera System was also heavily overhauled. Player can now move Operators around the scene, rotate them, and set into specific poses to get the perfect shots!
Birthday System
If you provide your birthday in-game, you’ll receive a special gift within a couple weeks of the date provided. Players who already had their birthday between the game’s launch and Version 1.4 will receive the gift retroactively.
Main Mission Early Unlock
In a crazy early turn of events, Endfield now permits players to skip Chapter 1 Valley IV story immediately, and start in Chapter 2 Wuling. You can still go back to play Chapter 1 after, but if you so choose, you can avoid Valley IV entirely now.
New Permanent Challenge Mode
Version 1.4 will also add a new permanent challenge mode called Echoes of War. It will regularly rotate through new stages, and offer difficulties up to “Brutal” difficulty. Don’t worry — completing the lowest level can still get you all of the Oroberyl rewards. You can also get Profile additions to show off your completion level of this activity.
Challenge Event
Heat Rage! Mega Arena! Is a new Challenge Event where you’re only allowed to use 2 Operators. You can choose to either use their pre-set Trial characters, or use your own! There will also be selectable modifiers to adjust combat behavior around your team. Perhaps you’ll want to take increased SP Regeneration Rate with a Zhuang Fangyi and Perlica duo?
Umbral Monument
Umbral Monument will also add the Howlers of the Crag series, clearly inspired by the enemies found in Sword Vault Dale.
New Fun & Games Event
Starting in Version 1.4, you can enjoy the Rooted Realm. This activity appears to be a more puzzle-focused take on Etchspace Salvage. It will feature a wealth of Oroberyl and Progression Materials for completing various tasks within the activity, so be sure to participate!
Delver of the Cryptic Returns!
The highly popular puzzle event gets a new series, Artful Realm of Six Cardinals!
Operator-Specific Arsenal Defense Crate
You can also expect a wealth of Quality of Life updates to arrive in Version 1.4. Besides story-skipping to Wuling, they’ve also made gearing Operators probably as easy and stress free as it’ll ever get.
First are the components. To craft the latest gear, you used to require the latest iteration of components. Now you can craft gear with older components, at the cost of using more materials and additional Wuling Stock Bills.
Next, they’ve implemented Operator-Specific Arsenal Defense Crates. Complete combat drills to immediately get an Arsenal Defense Crate containing MAX Artificed Gear fitting the operator. These “combat drills” are the very same brief demo events they offer during a character’s debut banner. Consider yourselves no longer worried or stressed about gearing!
2026 Companionship Celebration
There are many rewards for the 2026 Companionship Celebration, celebrating the 1st Half Anniversary of Arknights: Endfield!
First is the redemption code ENDFIELDRENEW. This will reward 71,600 T-Creds and the Safety Helmet Sticker for Camera Mode. This is available from now through the end of the Homecoming version.
Second, if you log into the game between now and July 24th, you’ll receive a mail containing:
- 2,000 Oroberyls
- 12,000 T-Creds
- 10 Elementary Cognitive Carriers
- 10 Arms INSP Kits
- 10 Protohedrons
- 2 Marks of Perseverance
Third is the Tribute of Companionship celebration event. This rewards 3,000 Oroberyls, 5 Basic Headhunting Permits, and the new 6-star Sword, Farsight. Acquire these from a 3-day log-in event.
Farsight is a unique Sword from the Tribute of Companionship celebration event. It features the primary stat of Main Attribute Boost, Arts Intensity Boost, and Assault. Those looking to pre-farm this Essence may do so now at: The Hub, Origin Lodespring, and Sword Vault Dale.
Fourth is the Fortune Connect-and-Win celebration event. Scratch once a day for 14 days to acquire at least 5,000 Oroberyls and some Progression Materials.
Altogether this totals to:
- 10,000 Oroberyl or 20 free pulls
- 5 Basic Headhunting Permits
- Event-Exclusive 6-Star Sword
- A wealth of Progression Materials
